SAREAA will provide first time home buyers a multilingual housing assistance resource center known as SAHARAA, South Asian Housing Assistance Resource Agency of America, to enable them to understand the home buying and mortgage loan process, in a language they can understand, to increase home ownership among South Asian Americans. SAHARAA is starting with seven South Asian languages, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali to represent South Asian first time home buyers. Mortgage Insurance Tax Deductibility Law-To Benefit Homebuyers
The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) is working to educate Asian American real estate and mortgage professionals about a new law that makes mortgage insurance tax deductible and lowers the cost of homeownership for many homebuyers. And AREAA’s website (www.areaa.org) now has valuable information for real estate and mortgage professionals to advise their clients about how low down payment products with mortgage insurance stack up against alternatives. |
